Family Tae Kwon-Do & Fitness Center is a mixed martial arts school that offers a
variety of programs that will fit your family needs. Our Moms and Dads are
getting in the best shapes of their lives while having a great time learning
valuable and practical Self-Defense. Kids ages 4 years & older are taught life
skills that will give them a great start in life.
Family Tae Kwon-Do & Fitness Center is one of the oldest Martial Arts schools in
the state of Florida. We have been building and developing Black Belt Champions
for almost 30years, strengthening the Mind, Body, and Spirit of each individual.
Ultimately we’re building greater unity in families, workplaces and in the

Rather than tell you about our championships and
black belt rankings, we prefer to focus on our students. We’re proud of
our instructors’ accomplishments, however, we’re more proud of our
students’ achievements. Our instructors understand that each student’s
individual progress should be the main focus of their attention. That is
why our instructors continue to be students themselves. They take
classes, attend seminars and continually work to improve their ability
to help our students reach their goals. All of our instructors are the
best of the best. They are all certified and are constantly working to
make our students the best they can be.

Catch a Star
Reading is so important to children. The Catch a
Star program is a great way to motivate your children to read. Students receive
a book log to keep track of the books that they read. The students may do one
book log per season and earn up to four red stars for their uniform per year.
Credit is given at the time the report is returned to the front desk. Student
must read ten books and write up three of the ten listed. Younger students may
read with a parent and the parent may do the writing for them. Students are
encouraged to write more if they wish (especially older students) and attach
extra sheets if necessary.
Academic Achiever
As part of the Academic Achiever program we
encourage children of all ages to turn in their report cards each semester.
Students will accumulate points for each grade they earn. Once they earn enough
points they receive a red star for their uniform.
Random Acts of Kindness
Here at Family Tae Kwon-DO we have instituted an
awesome program called “Random Acts of Kindness.” This is a character
development program that delivers powerful life-changing lessons to children and
young adults. The program will enhance your child’s understanding of courtesy,
respect, compassion and kindness and develop a sense of community awareness.
These are principles taught by Family Tae Kwon-Do being put into action. Support
your child’s acts of kindness and their keeping of the journal in this program,
as well as their involvement in other school activities. Remember, together we
are building tomorrow’s leaders.
SWAT - Special Winning Attitude Team
The SWAT team is Family Tae Kwon-Do’s elite demo
team. These young men and women set the example of what a person can achieve
when they set goals and work to attain them. Our demo team keeps a very busy
schedule working in exclusive SWAT classes and touring Florida putting on

Master McCarthy,
Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoy
being a part of your school. I have learned so much and feel that I will
continue to learn. I feel very at home at Family TaeKwon-Do, and quite
honestly, it is one of my favorite places. I appreciate all that you do
for the school, your students, and what you do for me. I am thoroughly
enjoying myself and have noticed a rise in my concentration level and
confidence. Thank you for doing such a great job and giving 110% all the
time.
